Challenge

Join a dispersed team both onsite and offshore to identify and implement new feature configurations utilizing XML for a fast food restaurant environment. Support pilot testing sites, providing troubleshooting, technical analysis, and complete system upgrades. Lead a enablement team to plan and execute phased deployments.

Project Results

Gained expertise within the fast food restaurant technology environment and learned XML language to create, modify, implement configurations. Worked with multiple requirements and development teams to introduce new features to a point of sale system as well as test In a lab environment, provide feedback and support multiple pilot test sites. Enabled the team to complete configurations more efficiently and effectively by creating user manuals and short-cut databases for internal teams.

Was given the opportunity to lead the Feature Enablement team with short notice and was able to successfully improve the quality of project tracking, status, communication, and deployments by updating the tacking process and dashboards within Confluence and status emails which provided more visibility to clients, stakeholders, and all teams involved.
