Restaurant Technology Infrastructure
Leading and managing a Hardware Certification team to intake, investigate, test, and deploy new hardware within a fast food environment. Utilizing Atlassian tools Jira and Confluence to gather information, track status, and distribute efforts.

Challenge
Co-lead a dispersed team both onsite and offshore of Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Lab Analysts to evaluate, test, and deploy new or updated hardware equipment within a fast food restaurant environment.
The following, were the biggest concerns which needed to be addressed as I joined the team:
- Update and organize the team Confluence Landing Page to better serve a broader audience
- Optimize the teams initiative intake process to reduce time to deployment
- Identify a new team structure to improve deliverable quality
Project Results
Served as the primary onsite Lead / Product Owner directly collaborating and communicating between the client, stakeholders, third-party vendors. Translating high level requirements, ideas, and experiments into action items, epic, user stories, and tasks. This included creating Jira dashboards and custom workflows to manage the product backlog for the internal team as well as providing a high level overview of project statuses through a individual confluence project page for external clients and stakeholders.
My co-leads and I were able to effectively turn around a struggling team within 7 months of effort.
- Completely overhauled the team landing page by utilizing current UI/UX trends of simplicity, intuitive navigation, and structured organization
- Created a brand new RACI chart which included all involved parties and clearly identified roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Re-organized internal team to better align with the demands of each product deployment.
